Today we went and saw Dr Booth again and it was an interesting visit! Gran Maude came along because Daddy Chris had to work today. It was business as usual at the start: we saw midwife Le and got my blood pressure checked and had question time. Blood pressure good. Then just as we were about to see Dr Booth she had to leave because there was a lady up the road at the hospital giving birth! How rude LOL
The receptionist said it would be a quick birth, so I waited in the waiting room with 2 other lovely ladies. Then one of the other ladies went into labour! It was so exciting. Le sat with her and timed her contractions and kept her calm. We had an impromptu lesson from Le on breastfeeding and I learned lots. Then Dr Booth came back, cool as a cucumber, and saw me after the other ladies. Bub is growing very well and heartbeat very strong as usual. Bub has flipped sides so is now left occiput posterior and head is already engaged in my pelvis. Don't panic though, this is no indication that bub will arrive early.
