So week 34 is over, only three weeks of work to go. My tummy is still growing and bub moves lots. I have however learned to sleep despite all the kicking, daddy tells me that when he stays up late reading in bed he rests his hand on my tummy and gets special kicks that I dont know about.
I have been feeling really thirsty even though I'm drinking 2-3 litres of water a day, but Little Le says this is nothing to be concerned about and is probably because I spend 5 days a week in an air conditioned office. I have also felt my first little braxton hicks practise contractions in the last few days.
Cravings this week include cinnamon toast, sugar bananas, dark chocolate button melts and the smell of crown lager of course!
I finally started to pack my hospital bag yesterday - toiletries, undies for 5 days, a gorgeous peter alexander nightie with blue and pink hearts on it, hot pink slipper socks and an ipod dock. I dont have enough big clothes to pack them in advance so I will just chuck whatever I can in the bag when the time comes.
Daddy and Uncle (cousin) Mark are going to Beers & Bubs tomorrow night to learn about babies, birth and how they can help, it's an information night at a local pub especially for blokey blokes who dont like reading pregnancy books. I read on the Beers & Bubs website that one of the things a man should never say to a woman in labour is 'that looks painful'. hahahahahahahaha
